ROUTT COUNTY FAIR!
The Routt County Board of County Commissioners welcomes you to the 110th Routt County Fair! With continued County support and thousands of hours from dedicated volunteers, the 2024 Routt County Fair will be held in the same historic location as it was in 1914.
The Routt County Fair Advisory Board, a nine-member volunteer board appointed by the County Commissioners, puts in hours of work and guides our committed volunteers. The commissioners appreciate the fact that the board organizes the annual Routt County Fair for the enjoyment of locals and visitors alike. They truly deserve our thanks for a job well done!
The Routt County Fair is a tradition that brings our community together to celebrate our agricultural heritage and rural way of living. It has a long-standing history of educating our community and visitors about agricultural topics, such as animal husbandry, and self-sustainability through land management, home economics, and food preservation. The Board of County Commissioners commends the Fair and Routt County 4-H for bringing together families through nonagricultural avenues such as robotics, shooting sports, and small engine projects. The knowledge gained through these traditions is priceless.
We encourage you to take some time to participate in, appreciate, and enjoy the Annual Routt County Fair. This is a great opportunity to find your inner cowboy, because the world needs more cowboys! Remember, everyone has a little cowboy or cowgirl in their heart.
